Spaldwick Playgroup
New Principal for Hinchingbrooke School
Within Spaldwick, we’re delighted to have both Playtimes Playgroup and Spaldwick Community Primary School, which were both rated as ‘outstanding’ in their recent Ofsted inspections.
Hinchingbrooke School – which is the senior school for children in Spaldwick – has just announced the appointment of a new Principal – Andrew Goulding. Andrew has been Headmaster of Bishop’s Stortford High School, which was judged ‘outstanding’ in the most recent Ofsted inspection, and is a national lead school for both Mathematics and ICT.
In its recent Ofsted inspection, Hinchingbrooke School was rated ‘good’ with outstanding features, so we wish Andrew well in driving further progress, so that all schools available to Spaldwick children are deemed outstanding.
Playtimes Playgroup seeks someone to keep gardens tidy
Playtimes Playgroup is seeking someone to keep its gardens tidy. It is looking to pay somebody for three hours per fortnight, to cut and strim the front and back gardens, with a bit of weeding where required.
There is also the possibility of a one-off full day, to do some work on the flowerbed at the front of the Playtimes building. If you are interested, please contact Keren on 07841 330007.
