Spaldwick Parish Council

Spaldwick Parish Council is responsible for:

• provision of street lights maintenance of verge and certain other grassed areas

• maintenance of the children's play area and public open space in Ferriman Road

• commenting on planning applications from the District and County planning authorities.

LITTER PICKING

The responses to the Parish Plan Questionnaire revealed that a number of people were interested in helping with a litter pick. Right now would be a good time to collect the litter from the hedgerows and ditches around the village. If you are interested in taking part or, better still, in helping to organise a litter pick could you please contact the Parish Clerk, David Stowell on 890065 or davidstowell@onetel.com as soon as possible.

Parish Council meetings are held at Spaldwick Primary School, and members of the public are welcome to attend. The Council holds 11 meetings in the year plus the Annual Parish Meeting.
