The draft minutes of the latest (January 2011) meeting of the Spaldwick Parish Council have been published.
The minutes consider the planning application for the erection of four wind turbines at Woolley Hill, Ellington. At the meeting, four votes were in favour and one against to recommend approval of the application. It was agreed to include a number of caveats to Huntingdonshire District Council in Spaldwick Parish Council’s formal response, including to ensure that no construction traffic passes through Spaldwick.
It was reported that funding is now available for the construction of a footway between Ivy Way and Beech House. The Spaldwick Parish Council has asked the Highways Engineer to proceed with the work.
