The minutes of the meeting of the Spaldwick Parish Council on the 24th Match 2011 are now available to view or download.
Items covered in the meeting includes the following:
- the withdrawal of the bus services 400 to 409 . Cambridgeshire County Council is taking steps to provide transportation of students to Hinchingbrooke School and for other residents to travel to Huntingdon.
- the Royal Wedding Garden Party at 43 High Street. The organiser, John Blatch, is hoping for a turnout of 100 or more
- progress with the Village Hall. The Chairman of the Spaldwick Parish Council and Eddie Roughsedge are arranging to meet Huntingdonshire District Council’s Head of Planning Services within the next few weeks to seek guidance on the possible sites for the Village Hall
- the Ivy Way footpath. Due to Huntingdonshire District Council’s Conservation Group objecting to the proposed footpath connecting High Street to Ivy Way (due to its proximity to Ivy House – a Listed Building), a new plan has been agreed. Work will (at last) start shortly.
