Festive events are taking place during December, so please try to support the organisers.
On Tuesday 17th December, we have the Carol Party at St James’ Church, starting at 7pm. There will be mulled wine, mince pies, sandwiches and tasty bites. Tickets are £5 (adults) and £3 (children). Adults will receive a complimentary first drink of mulled wine on arrival. This is a thoroughly enjoyed annual event and a great way to start the week before Christmas. The photo below shows last year’s event.
On Sunday 22nd December, we have the Christmas Carol Parade, starting at Spaldwick School at 4pm and finishing at The George at 6pm. This year, Christmas music will be played on the way, followed by carol singing in The George. Do join Santa on the way, at the stopping points or afterwards for mulled wine and mince pies.
The Crib Service will take place on Christmas Eve at 5pm in Spaldwick Church. The organisers would love it if all children in the village and surrounding villagers would join in. Refreshments will be provided after the service.
