Escape Youth Group Film Night Returns Friday!

Escape film nightThe last Escape session of the year is Friday 20th December and, as in previous years, we are running a special film night.

The feature film, chosen by the children at the last youth club session, is Despicable Me 2. In addition to fantastic big-screen blu-ray picture quality and amazing sound, and the usual tuck shop, we will also be selling hot dogs, freshly-made popcorn and hot chocolate.

If you frequently attend the youth club, or have never been before, you are welcome to join us for this special youth club evening.

The youth club caters for children from Spaldwick and surrounding villages, and welcomes children from school years 6 through to 16. Year 6s are welcome to attend from the term they become 11. Children aged 11 before the end of the year are welcome to attend now. Those aged 11 between January and Easter can join us in January, and those aged 11 between Easter and August can join us after Easter.

We are always happy to accept help from parents. If a parent of each child attending youth club volunteered just once, we would have enough people to cover two years of youth club sessions. Unfortunately, we don’t have this many volunteers, and we desperately need more. Volunteers are asked to serve in the tuck shop, which is a very important job. Just ask any of the children that come to our sessions!

If you can help at just one session in 2014, please email escape@spaldwick.com.
