Lots Happening in Spaldwick During September 2013

We hope you have had a very pleasant Summer. As the evenings get colder, and the children return to school, there is plenty to keep you busy and entertained in Spaldwick during September.

Do you fancy joining the Spaldwick Carpet Bowls, which starts again on Tuesday this week? New members are always welcome at the Spaldwick Gardening Club, which meets next week.

Escape nights start again this week, on Friday 6th September to coincide with the first week of school term.

The Spaldwick Welcome Club is holding an evening of entertainment in the Spaldwick School Hall on Saturday 7th September.

Later in the month, St James Church is holding a Harvest Supper and Auction on Sunday 29th September at 7pm in The George. Tickets are £10 (adults) and £5 (children). Tickets are available from Amba Harbour (890565), John Blatch (890853), Liz McCue (891537), Stuart Dixon (891837) and Edie Adams (890991).

This month, we will also get to know more information about the deployment of superfast broadband in Spaldwick. We should have a definitive date by the end of the month!
