Following last year’s disappointing weather, we had an absolutely stunning day for the 2013 Spaldwick Fete, held on Saturday 13th July 2013. With 540 visitors during the day and a large group attending the free hog roast in the evening, a new attendance record was set.
Spaldwick Queen, Olivia performed her last duty by opening the Fete at 11am, and a new Spaldwick Queen – Aine – was crowned. Good luck Aine in your year ahead!
The Spaldwick Social Group will shortly be providing a report on the day. In the meantime, the Spaldwick Social Group would like to thank all those who made the day a great success, including helpers setting up and clearing away, stall holders, performers and everyone that attended to raise money for our community.
