Thank you to all of you that have already registered. If you haven’t, there is still time. Please can cyclists arrive from 10am onwards at Grafham Visitor Centre, Marlow car park, to register and start the ride at 10:30am. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
Calling all cyclists!
On August 1st 2013, James Southerington passed away following a seizure. His loss has affected a great deal of people, not to mention his family.
In memory of James, a team of people will cycle around Grafham Water on the morning of Sunday 7th September and then host a picnic at the end. It is a nine-mile route and will take about an hour and a half.
If you would like to take part and cycle at Grafham Water to raise money for Young Epilepsy in memory of James Southerington, please contact: Carolinedianlock@sky.com (telephone 07584 412471) or firstname.lastname@example.org (telephone 07787 508875).
Details required are name and address. In return, you will get a sponsorship form and a running vest to wear on the day (donated by Young Epilepsy) as well as the satisfaction of raising money for a worthy cause! Deadline for registering is 1st September 2014. Also, please let us know what size of T-shirt you require (small, medium, large or extra large).
The cyclists will arrive at about 1230 at the picnic site and a welcome committee would be greatly appreciated.
We are asking for a donation to eat at the picnic, which will be donated with the money raised from the cycle ride to Young Epilepsy. So whether you’re cycling, or eating or not, we would love to see you there! Food donations are also welcome.
Those taking part in the cycle ride will receive T-shirts donated by Young Epilepsy. We need volunteers for the picnic as well as the cycle ride and they will get T-shirts too!
