On 22nd June 2014, Spaldwick Gardening Club will be hosting an Open Gardens afternoon. The event will be opened at 12 noon by the Spaldwick Queen, Aine Harbour. There will be eight gardens on show throughout the village and afternoon teas will be served on the terrace at Chestnut View, opposite The George.
We would welcome contributions of homemade cakes, which should be taken to Chestnut View on the morning of the event.
There will also be a flower display in the church, a pets’ corner, a treasure hunt for children, a fantastic raffle plus a super plant stall including the sale of the Spaldwick rose.
Any donations of plants, please bring on the morning of the event to the plant stall in the High Street.
The Escape Youth Group will be manning a tuck shop and Number Twelve Village Shop will be selling its delicious homemade ice creams. Entrance tickets will be sold in the High Street and admission is £3 per adult. Children are free.
This event is sponsored by Watsons of Kimbolton and all proceeds will go to local charities.
