Jonathan Young has been our Vicar, as well as Vicar of Ellington, Easton, Grafham and Barham, for 12 years and is now retiring, having reached the age of 70.
The Spaldwick Church Council intends to make a presentation to Jonathan after his final service, which will be at Easton at 11am on Sunday 2nd February 2014. Will anyone who wishes to contribute to this presentation, please send the contribution to John Blatch, 43 High Street, Spaldwick PE28 0TD.
Our new Vicar, Stephen Bowring – presently Vicar of Kimbolton, Tilbrook, Stow Longa and Covington – will be taking over Spaldwick, Easton and Barham (with help from a Curate, Lay Readers and retired vicars). The formal Licensing Service will be held with the Bishop of Huntingdon at Spaldwick Church at 4pm on Sunday 16th February 2014.
