Welcome to the Spaldwick Fete

Daytime activities start at 11am

We have some great daytime entertainment, including:

12:00 Stageworks (Arena)

12:20 Judo Demonstration by Osprey Judo (School Hall)

1:30 Maypole Dancing (Arena)

1:45 African Drumming (Arena)

2:00 Egyptian Dancing (Arena)

2:15 MAGPAS Awareness Talk (Band Stand)

3:00 Announcement of Scarecrow Winner

4:00 Fete Closes

Activities at the Fete include: Classic Cars, Motor Bike, Carpet Bowls (School Hall), Tots Bouncy Castle, Giant Bouncy Castle, Go Karts, Football, Wellie Wanging, Stocks, Archery, Bucking Bronco, Splat the Rat, Wheel of Fortune, Face Painting, Tin Can Alley, Tombola, Coconut Shy, Craft Competition, Photos and a colouring-in competition with Yasmin Chopin.

Stalls at the Fete include: Ditsy Kins Upholstery, Simple Turned wood turning, Stamping Up, old games, Paul Kane Art, Wildlife Trust, Sisel Kaffe. Teddy Tombola, Gardening Club, Cat Protection, jewellery, Wine and Water, books/crates and MAGPAS.

There will be:

  • a fully-licensed bar (including wine, beer, soft drinks and guest ale from Harts)
  • tea, coffee and delicious homemade cakes in the common room
  • burgers, sausages and a veggie option from FOSS
  • homemade ice cream
  • toasted flatbread pizzas.

 

Evening entertainment starts at 6.30pm

Spaldwick Fete entertainment

Between 6.30pm and 10pm, we have a live band and hog roast, with a charge of only £2 per person. A licensed bar is available!

Last performing at the 2012 Spaldwick Fete, and back by popular demand, we have All the Right Notes, featuring Spaldwick’s Mark Hunter on drums and Mark Sturdy on bass and, from Coventry, Barrie and Paul on guitars and vocals. The band will play a varied range of music to include Soul, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Funk, Ska and Reggae.
