Having completed a reasonably successful season in 2013, the Spaldwick Carpet Bowls Club has begun its programme for 2014.
The club programme comprises: club nights at 7.00 pm in the Spaldwick School Hall every Tuesday evening during term times, club competitions, social events and friendly matches with other village clubs.
Carpet bowls is a gentle, skilful sport played in a competitive, yet friendly and sociable, atmosphere and can be played at any age.
There are currently vacancies for new members. So, please come along and give it a try one Tuesday evening or just contact an existing member or Bernard Plummer on 01480 890534.
