Thursday 7th May 2015 will be an important day. Not only will the General Election take place but we will also have the election of a new Parish Council for Spaldwick.
If you are considering standing for election to the Parish Council, or know of someone who might wish to do so, please contact the Clerk, David Stowell:

When completed, the nomination forms must be delivered to HDC at Pathfinder House between 23rd March and 9th April. Due to Easter falling within this period, they would like the forms as soon as possible after 23rd March. Alternatively, forms may be delivered to 23A Thrapston Road, Spaldwick prior to 9th April.
By becoming a parish councillor, you become someone your community will look to for help, guidance and support – a community leader with the power to influence decisions for the benefit of the people you serve. Seeing your community change for the better, as a result of decisions you have helped make, is something that can give you a sense of achievement and pride.
