Applegreen UK – owners of the Spaldwick Service Station – would like to invite you to a community meeting where Managing Director Michael O’Loughlin will present Applegreen’s proposals for the future development of the service station.
The meeting will be held at the Community Room in Spaldwick School on Monday 16th November at 7.30pm. We will be publishing a summary of the event shortly after this meeting on the Spaldwick website.
A second meeting will be held for your feedback on Monday 30th November in the Community Room at 7.30pm.
Michael O’Loughlin said, “We have put great effort into finding a business plan that can sit comfortably within the community of Spaldwick and gain its support.”
“I appreciate we are a PLC but I can assure you my team and I will be extremely honest at both meetings and leave no stone unturned.”
“I would be delighted to take part in a summary of the first meeting to be published prior to the second meeting. This could encompass both pros and cons of the views shared on the night.”
“Also we are happy to furnish the agreed planning application at the time of lodging so it can be published on the community website for all to study in detail.”
We welcome Applegreen’s open approach. With the recent loss of the Spaldwick Shop and Deli, the development of the service station presents a great opportunity for having a modern facility that will be extensively used by villagers and the local community. It would also provide local employment opportunities. We hope that you will be able to attend the meeting. If you cannot, we will be providing information here on this website following the meeting.
