We welcome the reopening of the Spaldwick Service Station in its new temporary building following the recent fire. The service station opened on Wednesday 26th August 2015 for fuel only, with the shop opening a day later on Thursday 27th August. It was lovely to see the friendly assistant, who has become very popular among residents, back in post this morning, stocking up the shop. After the fire, she worked in a local service station in Peterborough close to where she lives, but is very pleased to return to Spaldwick.
