Spaldwick Allotments Update:
The Spaldwick allotments are progressing well and the Parish Council is now in a position to ask for firm names of anyone who would like to be an allotment holder.
Once names have been received, a meeting will be arranged to form an allotment committee.
The allotments will be 5 poles (125 square metres) in size.
As this is a new venture for the Parish Council they will, initially, charging £25 per plot per year. This fee may change next year depending upon the annual running costs.
If you are interested in an allotment please email the parish clerk (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Graham Smith (email@example.com)
Does anyone have any storage space for a couple of fete games in a garage/shed?
***Update - many thanks for your kind offers. We’re all sorted now!***
SPALDWICK BOOK EXCHANGE: CAN YOU HELP?
We’re approaching the 2nd anniversary of the Spaldwick Book Exchange in the old phone box in Royston Avenue!
Two years on, it’s still in use as a free library, and a location for the display of flyers publicising local events.
Unfortunately, due to the current volunteer who looks after it moving away, we’re looking for someone who can keep a check on it - tidying and rotating the stock after donations have been left. It needn’t be more than 5-10 minutes every few weeks.
Please drop a line to: firstname.lastname@example.org or message this page.
Congratulations to all the Raffle prize winners; please collect from 3 ivy way
